Rajveer Oberoi

This is my personal website. Here is a little bit about me:

• I grew up in the Bay Area. As a kid, I played water polo, geeked out on consumer technology, and even built an electric skateboard with my friends.
• I attended UCSB, where I studied Mechanical Engineering.
• I became interested in robotics and product design, so I decided to work at the Hawkes Lab -- a soft robotics research lab on campus.
• In college, I also got into stand-up comedy. I ran the UCSB Laughology Comedy Club, where me and a friend revived the club after COVID and put on shows for 200+ students. It was a blast.
• I went to grad school at UC Berkeley, where I worked with the Co-Design Lab to design a video game simulation for an industrial robot workflow that was used for human-robot interaction research.
• After grad school, I joined Promaxo, a medical device startup, where I worked on a novel MRI-compatible prostate biopsy robot.
• I now work at Intuitive Surgical as a Supplier Engineer, supporting motion-control components for the da Vinci 5.
